A soft palette for their little world
Cream, sage and peach: three shades for composing a warm decor, at your own pace.

A light base, then a few accents
To give a space unity, a simple method is to choose a background colour, then one or two accent shades. Cream can serve as a starting point, sage can bring a botanical note and peach a warmer touch.
There is no need to change the whole room. A basket, a frame or a few textiles are sometimes enough to establish this palette.
Play with textures
When colours remain understated, materials become more present. Knit, cotton gauze, wood and paper each bring their own texture.
Rather than matching everything exactly, look for echoes: a nearby shade, a rounded shape, a very simple pattern. The result seems more natural and leaves room for the objects you already own.
Let the story take shape
A personal world comes together little by little. A gifted illustration, a photo, a kept card: the details that arrive over time are also part of the decor.
Our idea of softness leaves room for this life that is settling in. Nothing needs to be perfect or entirely finished to be welcoming.
