A soft palette for their little world
Cream, sage and peach: three shades for creating a warm setting, at your own pace.

A light base, then a few accents
To give a space a sense of unity, a simple method is to choose a background colour, then one or two accent shades. Cream can serve as a starting point, sage can add a botanical note and peach a warmer touch.
There's no need to change the whole room. A basket, a frame or a few textiles are sometimes enough to introduce this palette.
Play with textures
When colours stay understated, materials become more present. Knit, cotton gauze, wood and paper each bring their own texture.
Rather than matching everything exactly, look for echoes: a similar shade, a rounded shape, a very simple pattern. The result feels more natural and leaves room for the objects you already own.
Let the story build itself
A personal world comes together little by little. A gifted illustration, a photo, a card kept: the details that arrive over time are also part of the setting.
Our idea of softness leaves room for this life that settles in. Nothing needs to be perfect or entirely finished to be welcoming.
